On April 10, 2021, executives and staff from Finnolar (Thailand) Ltd. donate 26 solar panels under Salo brand , each with 375 Watts, total capacity 10 kWp to Duangkaew Foundation in order to install at the Rehabilitation Center for the Disabled. It is estimated that with the 25 to 30 year lifespan of the panels, electricity costs of this care center can be saved up to approximately 8,000 baht per month or 100,000 baht a year.
Currently, Thailand has disability rehabilitation centers and disability care organizations scattered across the country. Encouraging these organizations to save on electricity costs and adopt clean energy is a company policy to contribute to sustainable community development. Finnolar will continue its social and community projects in accordance with its parent company’s policies in Finland and let all areas in Thailand have access to the solar energy and technology thoroughly. In addition, it will promote the use of solar energy and technology to develop all sectors to be sustainable.
