On September 8, 2021, executives and staff from Finnolar (Thailand) Ltd. donate 20 solar panels under Salo brand , each with 375 Watts to Charoenkrung Engineering Co., Ltd. in order to deliver to Wastewater Management Authority who is responsible for organizing a total wastewater treatment system in the area of waste water management according to the Royal Decree and further announced later. In the year 2011, Wastewater Management Authority has started to provide commercial services in order to find revenue to the organization along with providing social services to reduce the burden of budget support from the government.
Currently, the problem of wastewater has a critical negative impact on people’ lives in the neighborhood. Community wastewater is wastewater caused by various activities of people living in the community, this wastewater contains impurities in the form of high organic matter. Industrial wastewater includes wastewater produced by industrial processes including wastewater that has not been treated or has been treated but does not meet the industrial effluent standards. It is harmful to all aquatic lives and in the vicinity, causing a loss of natural balance, harmful to public health, ruin the scenery especially the water source used for transportation and tourist attractions, problematic to the water supply process, leading to increase in cost of improving water quality.
Finnolar is committed to contributing to the stability and sustainability of water resources. The donation of solar panels will help the Wastewater Management Authority reduce the burden of electricity costs at each station and enable the organization to apply research findings on the use of solar system to manage the wastewater management system to be more efficient.
